Picture of the Day for 11/3/2010. The shuttle launch was scrubbed today due to technical/computer issues. Sigh. So, that meant I had another "keeping myself occupied with things to see/do in Florida" day ahead of me. I drove two hours north and west to Mount Dora, a little town located in central Florida on the shores of Lake Dora. The drive through the rural countryside was beautiful. The foliage was an interesting mix of palm trees and pine trees. It was like God had put tropical and mountain ecosystems in a blender and spread the mix along Florida's State Road 46.
