Picture of the Day for 6/5/2010. These are my friends Margaret Ruth and Kelly Hansen. We attended the 2010 Utah Pride Festival- my first ever appearance at such an event. My gay friend Karl hates attending the Pride Festival because he says it's just an excuse for drunken revelry. I didn't really see much evidence of that. Instead, it felt like every other festival (i.e., Utah Living Traditions, Utah Arts Festival) I've attended in downtown SLC. There were food booths and vendors selling all types of merchandise. I bought a couple of very lovely scarves.
since when has Karl ever been against drunken revelry? didn't he just go to beer-fest?
