Picture of the Day for 3/13/2011. I just purchased some new piano music. No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. It's the music from Battlestar Galactica. I don't want anyone giving me crap about this. I love the composer, Bear McCreary. He has an impressive musical pedigree and he writes lovely, haunting music. That's part of the appeal for me- I love melancholy music. The more melancholy, the better. For some perverse reason, it cheers me up immeasurably.
I have an ongoing argument with my other half about naming our son Bear. I'm for, he's against. I think I'll win in the end, though. :)
