Picture of the Day for 3/10/2011. A few days ago at a family party, my great-niece Hayley was trying to braid my hair. She had the general idea of how it should be done, but her technique was less than successful and produced erratic results. I gave her some pointers which she embraced to the point she is now a successful and somewhat obsessive hair-braider. She's pictured here (randomly wearing a St. Patrick's Day hat- what's up with that?) holding my hair which she has just braided.
