Picture of the Day for 10/25/2013. Today was the first day of our speech therapy conference in New Mexico. You will not be seeing any pictures of that event since I've posted pictures of previous conferences and they all pretty much look alike and our table always looks the same. Same old, same old. 

We met a lovely man who was the only non-educational vendor there. Jay was selling homemade soaps and they were the best-selling item there. It made us recall the national speech therapy convention we attended last November where one of the most popular vendors was a woman selling beautiful wool scarves for $10. I think every attendee at the conference left with at least once scarf if not ten. I was telling Robynne we should be selling both scarves and speech therapy materials!

Anyhoo, we took a shine to Jay and had some nice conversations with him. We asked for a recommendation for a place to eat since it's always nice to know which restaurants the locals like. He suggested Viet Taste, a Vietnamese restaurant which we very much enjoyed..
