Picture of the Day for 5/8/2011. The boisterous commotion inherent to family celebrations (i.e., birthdays, holidays) usually drives my commotion-hating niece Corinne to curl up under her parents' fireplace hearth. Today's Mother's Day celebration proved to be no exception. Five-year-old Sadie poked at Corinne until she received evidence that Corinne was indeed still alive. Phew.
