Picture of the Day for 5/30/2012. Passed through Picacho, Arizona on my way from Phoenix down to Tucson. Picacho is notable for being the location of the westernmost battle of the Civil War. I was going to give a brief overview of the skirmish, but given the fact I'm trying to catch up on several days of blog entries, I have decided to urge my readers to do a google search on The Battle of Picacho Pass instead.
