Picture of the Day for 7/3/2012. This is another picture of my mother I stumbled upon while cleaning out the front hallway closet over the weekend. I love the sweet expression on her face as she's resting her head on top of mine. It was nice to be reminded of this version of my mother. I missed her during the last two years of her life when she was scared and unhappy and angry over losing her independence. Can't blame her. As my dad used to say, getting old is definitely not for sissies.
