Henchmen Aren't Supposed to Win Citizenship Awards

Picture of the Day for 6/29/2012. I attended the end-of-year awards ceremony at the elementary school my great-nieces and great-nephew attend. Hayley, aka Miss Overachiever (which I totally mean as a compliment), won about 400 awards. OK, that's an exaggeration, but she did win several including two very prestigious ones- The Hope of America Award and The Presidential Award for Excellence in Education. We are all very proud of her.

We knew Hayley was slated to win the awards, but we (the family members in attendance) all about fell off our chairs when my great-nephew Ethan won an award for good citizenship. This is the boy who draws pictures of Satan in church and who wants to be a henchman when he grows up! Our initial thought was henchmen aren't supposed to win citizenship awards, but upon further reflection, we decided it will come in handy. Being able to feign good citizenship will allow him to go on undercover assignments and blend in with the general public if necessary.
