Picture of the Day for 10/23/2010. My attempts at capturing images of the fall leaves are improving.
Today was stunning. The fall colors are at their peak. I've lived in the mountains all my life, but even I was amazed at the vibrant blood-red leaves and the bright golden-yellow foliage that looked like it was being illuminated by 1,000 watt bulbs.
I had pulled over to the side of the road to take a picture of a tree and a man who saw what I was doing stopped his car just so we could exclaim over the scenery.
