Today is the 7th month anniversary of my mother's death. I'm still struggling with it, but not at the times one would think. First Thanksgiving without my mother- I was OK. First birthday without my mother- I was OK. First Christmas without my mother- I was OK. Office meeting today- I was a mess. I'm just glad no one noticed the tears welling up in my eyes.
