Picture of the Day for 8/9/2013. Just realized it has been a few days since I fed my birds. Oops. I'm the worst bird mother ever. I'm sure they breathe a sigh of relief whenever they go to their Aunt Paula's house when I travel. Good thing I spend a lot of time on the road. I suspect they say the bird equivalent of "oh crap" when I show up to take them back home.
Here's a sign of how ravenous they were when I did feed them. Notice in the photo how they are both sharing the food tray nicely. Normally, Cora (the white bird) is irrationally possessive about the bird seed. It's HER bird seed, Malcolm (the blue bird) be damned. Poor Malcolm.
