Picture of the Day for 9/10/2011. Turns out installing sod is several thousand dollars more expensive than seeding my lawn. Guess which option I chose? The grass seed guy, Dave, showed up to do my lawn today. This was quite the education in landscaping as I had no idea how a lawn gets seeded. Turns out there's a seed/"glue" mixture that gets hosed onto the lawn.* Check out the pictures.
My yard looks like it has been spray-painted green.
*Maybe I just have a dirty mind, but I couldn't think of a way to describe this process without it sounding slightly naughty.
