Picture of the Day for 9/7/2011. Yay!!! My living room is finally clean. I wouldn't go so far as to say it looks good since I've got a red couch that clashes with the mauve carpet, the lamps and coffee tables are excellent examples of 1950s interior design, there are no pictures on the walls, and I've got two TVs right next to each other. About the most charitable thing you can say about the room right now is that it is presentable, but I'm absolutely thrilled to have reached this stage. All the decorating and improvements can come later.
I spent the entire Labor Day holiday weekend working non-stop on the room. You can see what a feat this was when you see my "before" pictures below.
