Picture of the Day for 7/21/2010. Going in for surgery tomorrow. My surgeon wants my bowel to be thoroughly cleansed and pristine before the big event. In order to accomplish this, I had to drink 8 cups of a vile substance called Golytely which is designed to clear out one's bowel. Words cannot describe just how vile this substance is. I tried mixing it with all sorts of non-vile substances (Sprite, lemonade, apple juice), but nothing could disguise the taste. I only managed to get 7 cups down before crying uncle.
