Picture of the Day for 7/10/210. Downtown Salt Lake City is currently undergoing a 20-acre, $1 billion reconstruction. I have a "front-row seat," so to speak, from my office. I'm certainly my engineer father's daughter since I've enjoyed watching the process of older buildings being demolished and new buildings going up in their place. I must have a bit of a destructive streak because I REALLY enjoyed watching the buildings being demolished. This picture is a view of the construction from the south side of my office building. Coming in a close 2nd (to building demolition) in entertainment value is watching the massive cranes at work.
