Picture of the Day for 2/29/2012. I probably should have tried to find a Leap Year-ish topic for my picture of the day, but I was so busy enjoying myself lunching/dining with friends that I forgot to snap a photo until nearly midnight. A "book report" picture is always a good fall-back.
Hammerhead Ranch Motel by Tim Dorsey is a "zany"* novel set in Florida and written by a native Floridian. It's certainly appropriate reading material for a wanna-be Floridian vacationing in Florida.
*I sincerely apologize for the hackneyed adjective, but "zany" really is the best word to describe the novel. Please be assured that I won't follow up my use of the word "zany" with "wacky."
