Picture of the Day for 6/30/2011. I have fond memories of rummaging through my grandmother Merrill's box of miscellaneous buttons when I was a little girl. I suspect saving buttons used to be a common practice when clothing was not so easily obtained. Now I have a jar where I keep all those extra buttons that come with new articles of clothing. It's a fun little reminder of my childhood.
