Rene Carpenter's Life Magazine Article

Picture of the Day for 10/8/2015. I came back from Ohio with a copy of the June 1, 1962 edition of Life magazine that featured Rene Carpenter's article ("The Time That Grew Too Long") about her husband Scott Carpenter's flight into space. Despite being a space nerd, I wouldn't have known about it without having watched The Astronaut's Wives Club on TV. I just read an article that indicated the now 87-year-old Rene Carpenter is NOT a fan of the show.
