No Plastic Bags in Pasadena, California

Picture of the Day for 5/8/2014. Within an hour of arriving in Pasadena, California today I was informed by my friends that I would be shopping at the nearby Target for a swimsuit since I had failed to bring one. Wonder of wonders- I found a bathing suit top that fit and did not look matronly. I bought men's swim trunks for the bottoms since I like how they provide more coverage. When I asked for a plastic bag at checkout I was informed that plastic bags had been banned from Pasadena. That's all well and good except for when you need a plastic bag to carry a wet bathing suit. A paper bag doesn't cut it. Oh well. I just ended up dripping all over the hotel hallway instead.
