The Slipper and the Rose: The Story of Cinderella

Picture of the Day for 9/1/2013. My niece Renee has been dying for me to see The Slipper and the Rose: The Story of Cinderella, a movie she recalls very fondly from her childhood. She went so far as to purchase the DVD specifically to have me watch it. After many years of discussing the movie, we finally watched it tonight. I enjoyed the film very much! It stars Richard Chamberlain at the height of his manly prettiness. Yes, there is such a thing- men can be both manly and pretty at the same time. Women get this; men seem to take umbrage at the word "pretty."
