Freezing Bananas

Picture of the Day for 9/3/2013. I add 1/2 of a banana to the juice smoothies I make every day. Problem is, the bananas get overly ripe before I can use them all so I decided to freeze them rather than waste them. I have learned the following:

1- There's a right way to freeze bananas. (And I suspect there's even a "righter" way to freeze them by separating them with parchment paper.)




2- There's a wrong way to freeze bananas. Of course I learned this the hard way. You're probably waaaaay ahead of me, but it didn't occur to me until too late that it's next to impossible to peel a frozen banana.
