New Year-New Moon-Fresh Start

January 1, 2018. Everyone on social media (and the regular media too) has been commenting that 2017 has been odd at best and hideous at worst. For the most part, 2017 was a lot better than 2016 for me personally. Definitely a better work year. Still, I always love the start of a new year. It's filled with so many possibilities and represents a fresh start. It's appropriate this new year starts with a new moon. This one is called the Full Wolf Moon. I love the light of a full moon - it casts a specific glow (which you can see on my front steps below).
