12/19/2011. My sister Paula's kids have mounted a two-year campaign to have an authentic Dickens Christmas feast which naturally would include goose. As part of the campaign, Renee set up her laptop in the living room and had her mother watch an episode of Good Eats (from the Food Network) which provided detailed instructions for cooking a duck (a close cousin to the aforementioned goose). While it was a very entertaining show, Paula remains unconvinced.
